News Update
President Bola Tinubu has directed Nigerians to spiritually participate in a special prayer session on Friday, March 28, at the National Mosque in Abuja, ahead of his 73rd birthday celebration on Saturday.
In line with this directive, the President encouraged citizens to pray for Nigeria’s unity, divine guidance, and healing from wherever they are, whether at places of worship or at home.
This symbolic call is to strengthen national cohesion and reinforce collective hope for the country’s progress.
In a statement released on Thursday by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information & Strategy, the prayer session was described as part of Tinubu’s ongoing reflection on leadership and gratitude for divine protection.
“Choosing a prayer session reflects President Tinubu’s dedication to Nigeria’s spiritual and moral well-being and his commitment to seeking divine guidance, insight, and strength in leadership,” the statement read.
