The Kebbi State Government has announced the disengagement of all 21 Local Government Education Secretaries across the state.
The announcement was made on Monday by the Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Yakubu Bala-Tafida, through a press statement issued in Birnin Kebbi, the state capital.
The SSG said, “The decision takes effect immediately, and the affected officials have been instructed to hand over their responsibilities to the Directors of Administration in their respective local government areas.”
The government acknowledged the contributions of the outgoing education secretaries to the state’s education sector and expressed its appreciation for their service.
“While the state government appreciates your contribution, it also wishes you well in your future endeavours,” Bala-Tafida stated.
He further directed the relieved officials to report to their previous offices.
