Nigerian singer Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems, was among the winners at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards, held on Sunday at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, United States.

The star-studded event, hosted for the fifth consecutive year by Trevor Noah, celebrated the biggest names in music, honouring outstanding performances, chart-topping hits, and industry breakthroughs from 2024.

Tems secured the Best African Music Performance award for her song Love Me JeJe, triumphing over strong contenders such as Burna Boy, Asake & Wizkid, and Yemi Alade.

Other notable winners of the night include Kendrick Lamar, who took home Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song for Not Like Us, while Chris Brown claimed Best R&B Album for 11:11 (Deluxe).
