OBO celebrates Tems’ Grammy win despite loss

Afrobeats superstar Davido has shown sportsmanship by celebrating his colleague, Tems, after she won the Best African Music Performance category at the 67th Grammy Awards.

 

The award-winning singer took to social media to congratulate Tems, who triumphed over strong contenders, including Yemi Alade, Asake, Burna Boy, and Davido himself.

 

Her song Love Me, Jeje secured her second Grammy win, adding to her 2023 victory for Wait for U with Future and Drake.

 

Despite losing in all three of his nominated categories, Davido expressed his pride for Tems, writing, “Congratulations to my one and only ! @chrisbrown! And to the Queen @temsbaby, we are proud of you!”
