Engineer Raji Kehinde, founder of Aaraj Empowerment Foundation (AEF), has called on Osun state Governor, Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke to use his next two years in office to correct “nepotism” that has characterised his government.

He said, “Their nepotistic style of government should stop. Go to Egbedore and Ejigbo local governments and see the level of work being done in comparison with Ede town.

“In terms of employment, let them give us the statistics of appointments they have made. The major appointments are from Ede. The largest percentage is from Ede. So, they should use the next two years to correct them and work on other local governments to balance the equation. It is not acceptable by the people of Osun.“

The Civil Engineer cum Philanthropist also made reference to alleged breach of agreement on payment of N500m the government of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola owed him.

He said; “Before the election, they (government officials) agreed to pay the money. After the election, the SSG (Teslim Igbalaye) was asked to bring the file and he said he couldn’t find it. I thought it was a joke but till today, the money has not been paid.”

When asked the purpose behind his gestures of donating N3 million to the Osun State Arsenal Supporters Club, he explained that “It is Osun state Arsenal Supporters Club first annual general meeting. And you can see that a whole lot of our members 80% of them are youth, and most of them are graduates. So we’ve been trying to also support them along that line apart from the AEF members. This time around we decided to have a welfare team with one million naira injected into the account to take care of the needs of members in any kind of issues.

“A boy that I saw in 2018 and engaged with monthly salaries. He had no education or skill when I knew him but I believe he could learn on the job. I took him to my project in Ibadan and increased his salary to N100,000. But in December, I got a report that he has started moving with people that do not want me. These are the people in government.

“Then the people in Adeleke’s government gave him money to start defaming and blackmailing me all around. They have even given him an appointment now.

“This is someone that I was paying his house rent and even bought him land to build his own house. As at the time the land was bought, I paid ten million naira, the land is valued at 26 million now but I have revoked the land.

“His action is politically motivated because he whines and dines with the people in government without my knowledge even before he left. And now he is an appointee of the government.

“I laughed when I heard him saying I will leave Osogbo if he opens his mouth. I don’t have any secrets anywhere, I’m a very legitimate human being.

“I have engaged my lawyers to take appropriate actions. My name is very important to me. He cyberbullyed me, threatened to send me out of Osogbo,” he narrated.
