News Update
THE 2024 edition of the Osun Youth Ambassador Award (OYAA) will hold in Osogbo, the Osun State capital, on Sunday, December 15, 2024.
The organiser of the Osun Youth Ambassador Award, Youth Reformer Initiative, announced this in a statement on Saturday.
The annual event will be held at the Oasis Event and Conference Centre in Osogbo.
The event begins with red carpet at 12 p.m., with other activities to follow at 1 p.m. at the same venue.
No fewer than 16 awardees will be conferred with awards at the event to be disgraced by dignitaries, including government officials, traditional rulers, and scholars, among others.
The awardees will be honoured for their dedication and the impact made on the development of their various communities in Osun State and Nigeria at large.
It would be recalled that the Youth Reformer Initiative, in October 2024, announced the commencement of the nomination process for the annual event.
The Initiative had disclosed that the nominees would be honoured for the award of excellence in categories including Agriculture, Entrepreneurship, Health, Sport, Force, Gender Advocacy, Private Sector, Education, Religion, Environment, International Partnership, Peace Building, Science and Technology, Entertainment, and Youth Advocacy, among others.
