First Bank has announced a scheduled maintenance on its systems, which will take place from 11:00 p.m, Saturday November 16 to 7am Sunday, November 17.
During this period, customers may experience temporary disruptions in card services.
However, the bank assured users that alternative channels such as *894# USSD, FirstMobile, Lit App, and FirstDirect will remain operational.
First Bank also reiterated its commitment to customer security, urging customers not to disclose sensitive transaction details, including account IDs, passwords, card PINs, or OTPs.
For any inquiries or doubts, customers can reach FirstContact through its helplines or email addresses.
In a related development, First Bank of Nigeria (FBN) Holdings Plc has announced plans to change its brand name to First Holdco Plc.
This follows approval from the shareholders.
The decision was finalized during the company’s 12th annual general meeting, held virtually on Thursday.
The rebranding will extend to all subsidiaries under FBN Holdings, aligning their names with the new corporate identity.
This move aims to reflect the evolving structure of the company as it broadens its financial and operational scope.
