Tinubu returns to Nigeria from vacation

President Bola Tinubu has returned to Abuja from the United Kingdom after a two-week vacation.

The president arrived at the presidential wing of the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport in Abuja at about 7:20 pm Saturday.

Tinubu was received by his Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila; the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu; the Minister of Finance and the Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun; the Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Abubakar Bagudu; the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Abdullahi Ganduje, among others.

The President departed Abuja for the UK on a two-week leave on Wednesday, October 2, a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, revealed.

Onanuga said, “President Bola Tinubu will depart Abuja today for the United Kingdom to begin a two-week vacation, part of his yearly leave.

“He will use the two weeks as a working vacation and a retreat to reflect on his administration’s economic reforms.

“He will return to the country after the leave expires,” the statement said.
