Africa’s Second-Longest-Serving President Reportedly Dies

Cameroonian President Paul Biya has reportedly died after 42 years of ruling the country.

The 91-year-old late president is the second longest serving president in Africa.

He has been ruling the country since 1982.

President Biya’s absent in public events after the China-Africa Summit from September 4 to 6, 2024, has left many guessing about his health status.

ABS Television which announced the death, said its sources in Switzerland and France confirmed Biya Death.

However, no official statement has been released by the Cameroonian government concerning president Biya’s status.
