Bankole Akinselure Foundation Rolls Out Educational Materials, Other In Idanre

As part of efforts to enhance the quality of education and in a bid to help indigent pupils to attain educational fulfilment, Bankole Akinsulure Foundation (BAF), an NGO, has donated learning materials to 6 public schools and 1 private nursery and primary in Idanre local government Area of Ondo State.

The beneficiary which cut across the local government are; St Mathew C.A.C Primary School, Christ School Primary School, L.A Otapete Primary School , L.A primary school Atosin , Saint Theresa catholic primary school Alade, And Western Oxford academy.

The donation tagged; “Welcome back to school,” was made by Hon. Bankole Akinselure, the Executive Director of the NGO, on Monday, September 23rd.

In his speech, BAF Executive director, Hon. Bankole Akinselure who doubles as the deputy caretaker committee Chairman Idanre LGA, said that the intervention was to assist the less privileged pupils in public and low-income primary schools with learning materials at the beginning of every school term and that foundation is committed to advancing the welfare and rights of the children.

“It is our belief as an organisation that every Nigerian child deserves a quality education and in line with Ondo State SUBEB mantra, “Leave No Child Behind”.

“We decided to give some pupils of these schools, learning supplies, such as exercise books, pens, and also payment for the school fees of some less privileged pupils among them. Our foundation was so optimistic that the gesture would enhance the learning experience of the beneficiaries and lead to an increase in the completion and transition of quality education.

In her remarks, Mrs. Olubodun, Head Teacher, St mathews Primary School, commended the organisation for the generosity and thoughtfulness toward the pupils in other to enhance quality education.

Mr Ogunfidodo said that a lot of pupils in the school were in need of the donated items, noting that the idea was a welcome development.

Furthermore, the Headmaster of Christ School, Mr Akinduro also appreciated the effort of the foundation in solving part of the problem encounter by some of the parent during the beginning of new session like this , pray may thy Lord lifted the foundation and all the working team in Jesus name.
