THE gubernatorial candidate of the Action Alliance (AA), in the September 21 governorship election in Edo State, Prince Tom Iseghohi Okojie, has stepped down from the race and pledged his support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Monday Okpebholo

Briefing journalists in Benin city on Sunday, Iseghohi Okojie said the decision to step down from the governorship race and support for the APC candidate, Monday Okpebholo is to unite with a capable political leader and party that has the sincere intention to develop Edo State.

Aligning with the APC and her governorship candidate, Monday Okpebholo, according to Iseghohi Okojie, is the best path to take, describing the APC candidate, Okpebholo, as a man with the capacity to lead, saying, “leadership is not about giving wonderful speeches but about mikness and relationship with the people you are leading”.

Iseghohi Okojie, however, promised to mobilize 65,000 people to vote on election day for the APC.

Edo State Acting Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Jarrett Tenebe, while receiving the AA governorship candidate, Iseghohi said the alliance is to form a government of unity.
