Timileyin Oyeniyi, the personal assistant on media to the Senator representing Osun Central in the National Assembly, Olubiyi Fadeyi, has resigned.
Announcing his resignation on his official Facebook page, in a letter dated September 15 and obtained by the Newsmen on Monday, Timileyin notified the senator that his resignation would take effect on September 30, 2024.
He expressed his appreciation to the senator for the opportunity to be part of his team and assured him that he would wait while the senator looks for another qualified candidate to fill the position before his departure.
Timileyin also committed to working diligently until September 30 to facilitate the transition process.
The Statement reads in full;
Dear Senator Olubiyi Oluwole Fadeyi,
“Notice of Resignation from the Position of Personal Assistant on Media
I hope this letter finds you in good health. After much thought and careful consideration, I wish to formally tender my resignation from the position of Personal Assistant on Media, effective September 30th, 2024.
It has been an honor to work with you and contribute to your efforts in serving our constituency and the nation. The experience I have gained while serving in this capacity has been invaluable, and I truly appreciate the opportunity to have been part of your distinguished team.
To ensure a smooth transition, I am willing to wait while scouting for another qualified candidate to fill the position before my departure, and I am committed to working diligently until September 30th to facilitate this process.
Once again, I thank you for the trust and confidence you placed in me, and I look forward to staying in touch and supporting your work from afar.
