THE Agbekoya society a group of Yoruba pan security group Osun State chapter pay a courtesy visit to Amotekun Corps Commander, Osun State Security Network, Dr. Hon. Adekunle I Omoyele on Thursday to express their commitment to collaborating with Amotekun to combat crime in the state.
The visit, led by the group’s state governor, Chief Ayodele Gabriel, aimed to strengthen ties and foster a mutually beneficial relationship between Agbekoya and Amotekun, with the ultimate goal of enhancing security and prosperity in Osun State.
The group praised Amotekun’s efforts in the last few months in maintaining peace and security in Osun State and sought to explore areas of collaboration.
The Corps Commander responded that ” he saw their visit as a platform to explore potential areas of collaboration and mutual support. He told them that building bridges between our organizations will enhance our collective efforts towards a more secure and prosperous in Osun State.
Commander looks forward to a productive relationship as the Amotekun are ready to join forces with them to eradicate crime in Osun State.
On vote of thanks by the Agbekoya group they commended Omoyele for serving the country meritorious in the Nigeria police for 35 years without any blemish which encouraged the Osun State Governor Sen. Asiwaju Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke for appointing him as the Corps Commander of Osun Amotekun Corps. They wish Dr. Omoyele success in the office.
Dr. Omoyele commended the group for their visit and assured his support and collaboration with all security agencies in the state, as directed by Governor Senator, Asiwaju Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke.
