MR. CHRISTIAN IWOKURAI IS CALLING ON INDEGENS OF PEREMABIRI COMMUNITY TO EMBRACE PEACE.

The MD/CEO informed the community leadership that the Niger Delta Basin Development Authority (NDBDA) is committed to revive the rice farm in Peremabiri and making it to function fully again.

“Peremabiri, once a beacon of hope and progress for surrounding communities, has unfortunately lost its luster. Despite boasting over 21 oil wells with a flow station operated by Shell(SPDC) And beyond Rice and Crude oil, Peremabiri also produces about 10,000 metric tones of domestic gas.the community lacks basic amenities like clean water, quality education, and adequate healthcare. Is disheartened that a community filled with abundant resources contributing to the development of Bayelsa state and the federation at large have nothing to show for it. It is a pity seeing our families at home living under bad conditions even to have two square meal a day is a problem.

“The question is, been son’s or daughter’s of Peremabiri kingdom are your not tired? How do you feel seeing your brother begin to survive everyday? Why separation, instead of coming together as one people and fight for the development of our community and the well-being of our people,

“Comr.Christian iwokurai is calling on all sons, daughters, leaders, and stakeholders of Peremabiri to put aside their differences and unite in harmony. shun power tussle, shun lordship, let’s develop the land, let’s care for one another, let’s value each other.

“This collective effort will help safeguard the promising rice farm project, a golden opportunity for the community’s revitalization. Let us come together to revive Peremabiri’s former glory and create a brighter future for generations to come Let’s support Hon. Ebitimi Amgbare for a dream come true.

Christian iwokurai also use this medium to call on the Executive Governor of Bayelsa state HE Excellency, senator Douye Diri and his deputy senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo to Execute their findings in keeping the community at peace in applying all necessary policies, it recall that in year 2021 the prosperity led government set up a committee to address the peremabiri community crisis and up till now the white paper have been mute……….
