Seized Presidential Jets: Contractor Committed Suicide After Amosun terminated agreement

Voice Air Media, News Update

Professor of Political Economy, Pat Utomi, has alleged that a prominent Ogun State indigene took his own life after the cancellation of a contract during the tenure of former Governor Ibikunle Amosun.

Utomi shared his personal experience, revealing that he had to repay millions of naira in loans after Amosun allegedly terminated his contract with the Ogun State government.

Utomi’s reaction comes in light of recent comments by Amosun regarding the controversial arbitration and legal matters between the Chinese firm Zhongshan Fucheng Industrial Investment Co. Ltd and the Federal Government of Nigeria/Ogun State Government. The dispute centers on terminating a contract at the Ogun/Guangdong Free Trade Zone.

Utomi wrote, “It was Governor Amosun’s breach of contract terms, signed by his predecessor, that led to the embarrassment of jets being seized from the Presidential fleet. I hope he’s proud of this achievement.
