Anambra APC governorship aspirant dies at 53

Ifeanyi Ubah, the Senator representing Anambra South in the Nigerian Senate, has died.

 

Voice Air Media learnt that Ubah, who was gearing up to contest the next governorship election in Anambra, died of cardiac arrest in London.

 

The 53 year old Anambra Senator, who was elected on the platform of YPP, defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC) last year.

 

Though details surrounding the passing of Ifeanyi Ubah are still sketchy, some reports indicate that he died in a hotel in London. He reportedly left for London two days ago.

As at the time of this report, the Senate has not commented on the death of the Senator.
