Tinubu presents new minimum wage bill to reps

The House of Representatives has received the new Minimum Wage Bill from President Bola Tinubu.

 

The President’s letter requesting for the passage of the bill was read on the floor of the House on Tuesday.

 

The bill when signed into law will legalise N70,000 as the national minimum wage

 

The Federal Government, the Organised Labour and the Organised Private Sector had last week agreed on the amount.
