Arowosafe Iyabo Florence Foundation Assists Ekiti, Lagos Residents, Orphanage Home With Food Items

As part of activities to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of late Mrs Arowosafe Iyabo Florence who was born on the 16th February, 1963, and She passed away on the 10th July, 2014, a Non Govermental Organisation founded in remembrance of her, Arowosafe Iyabo Florence Foundation, has shared food and other essential commodities to orphanage home and residents of Ikate round-about, Lekki Axis Lagos, and Ado-Ekiti Ekiti state.

Presenting the items to the Home and People, the Foundation Chairman and Convener, Arowosafe Oluwafemi Samuel on Wednesday July 10th, 2024, said it became necessary to celebrate their mother’s 10th anniversary with less privileged children, needy and elderly individuals and give them a sense of belonging and promote patriotism.

Arowosafe Iyabo Florence Foundation In Ekiti state, Lagos state during humanitarian service

Arowosafe Oluwafemi Samuel said that the humanitarian service visit which was held in Lekki Axis Lagos, and Ado Ekiti, Ekiti state would go a long way to rekindle the hope of the children in the society and influence that they are not alone and to give back to society.

Our Correspondent who covered the humanitarian service at Atikankan Ado-Ekiti, in Ekiti state while speaking with the representative of the foundation in the state, Arowosafe Feyisayo Mary and Arowosafe Oluwayemi, They explained that the avenue was also a way to contribute to the attainment of the good life their mother spent while on earth before her passage 10-years ago which seeks to promote peace and coexistence among the children.

The foundation aim and objectives to provide food and assistance to the needy; to offer shelter to the homeless, especially elderly individuals, widow/widower and orphans who are currently without housing; to award scholarships and provide educational resources to under privileged children in government schools; to enhance the quality of the life for disadvantaged individuals by helping them secure start-up funds for small businesses.

While speaking, the Leader of Vigilant Heart Charitable Society (VHCS) Orphanage Lagos State, Mrs Maria Iriowen Osawemen was full of appreciation to Arowosafe Iyabo Florence Foundation for the kind gesture extended to them and their children, “Thank you for bringing smiles to the faces of our children,” She said

“The visitation brings succour, joy and excitement to the Children Homes with the donation of food and household items.

According to her, the visit has brought greater relief and hope to the children.

Mrs Maria Iriowen Osawemen promised that the home would continue to train children that would add value to the society.
