Many residents of Osogbo at the Osun State capital showered encomiums on Inside Osogbo and Benson Adeyemi Foundation for the Free Medical Tests offered to them on Sunday, June 30, 2024.
The gestures was carried out to complement the State government’s efforts to have a healthy society.
The tests conducted includes; Blood Pressure (BP), Malaria and Sugar Level on all the fans and spectators who came for the Novelty Match.
The representative of the NGO, Temitope Oladejo said the organization has been conducting various outreaches for over eight months, aligning with the government’s efforts to promote wellness.
Oladejo encouraged individuals to prioritize their health and maintain a healthy lifestyle through regular check-ups, regardless of financial circumstances.
According to him, “This is a testament to what the organization stands for and also to work with the Osun State Government in making sure that lives of the people are well improved by having an overall healthy lifestyle.
“This is our own way of giving back to the society and we are also committed to the effort of the government.
“Over 8 months we have been running different outreaches, we are always happy to contribute our quota to the State government when its comes to ensuring that people have a healthy life styles.
“Our key focus is to make sure people maintain healthy life style and we want to encourage that people frequently go for check ups,” he added.
The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to BAF for providing free medical services to the community.
Omokorede Anthonia and Oluwatosin Adodo were among those who praised the organization for their commendable work in caring for the health and well-being of the residents.
Omokorede Anthonia said, “I want to say a big thank you to BAF for the free medical service. This is truly commendable, and we appreciate the organization’s efforts in caring for people’s health.”
Oluwatosin Adodo also lauded the team of the NGO, saying, “The service provided by BAF is top-notch, and we are grateful for their dedication to improving the health and lives of our community members.”
Meanwhile, Osogbo Grammar School was agog on Sunday, June 30, 2024 as the Osogbo Twitter FC and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence (NSCDC) FC slugged it out side by side with the free Medical checkups at the school Sports Field.
The novelty match organized by Osogbo Inside in partnership with Benson Adeyemi Foundation was full of exciting moments and tensions to the admirations of football lovers at the venue.
The match, however ended 1-1 draw with “no winner no vanquished.”
