Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma says he is sure the policies of the President Bola Tinubu administration will lead to Nigeria’s economic prosperity.

Uzodimma said this at an interactive session with journalists in Owerri on Wednesday.

He noted that journalists needed to properly explain to Nigerians the benefits of the policies instead of trumpeting the side effects.

He said: “Although the populace are experiencing economic hardship occasioned by the policies, they would eventually enjoy the benefits.”

He added: “Every discerning Nigerian knows that President Tinubu’s economic policies are sound and that they will salvage the country sooner than later.”

Uzodinma appealed to Nigerians to be patient as this as the current hardship faced by the country would be over.
