Gunmen Attack 18-passengers Bus, Kidnap Travellers In Ondo

Report says unknown Gunmen have attacked an 18-seater bus, kidnapping unspecified number of travellers on Ikare- Irun Akoko -Ado Ekiti highway in Ondo state.

The incident was reported to have occured at Irun Akoko/ Imesi Ekiti axis of the road.

The incident was said to have occurred yesterday’s evening.

It was learnt that the abducted victims are from Irun akoko, Ikare akoko and Ekiti communities.

A source at Irun Akoko told Journalist that Police men, Soldiers and Amotekun Corps officers from Ekiti and Ondo states with the cooperation of Local Vigilantes are currently combing the forests to rescue the victims.

The Ondo State command of the Nigeria Police is yet to react to the incident as at the time of filing in this report.
