Cleric Charges Followers, Nigerians To Pray For Their Leaders At Pentecost Day 2024

A cleric, Bishop Mike Bamidele, on Monday called on followers and Nigerians to pray for their leaders, noting that the enemy target the Leader.

The founder of Victory Life Ministries International, made this call at the Ministers Fire Conference of the 2024 Pentecost Day, at Government Technical College in Osogbo, the state capital.

“You are a Leader by creation, the enemy target the leader, may enemy not kill your leader”, Followers must learn to protect and pray for their Leader”.

The Bishop further said Pentecost is a day to put affairs of the nation to the hands of God, hereby called on Governor Ademola Adeleke to recognize Pentecost Day as a public holiday in the state.

“Osun state under the then Governor gave Isese and Hijirah Day government recognition and ignored the Christians, that can disturb peace, and equity in a polarized and multi-religious society like ours, whenever you want to do something you must be conscious of all other interests and balances.”

He also called on all the Christianity structure to be one and put together as a body.

“This year’s celebration is burning down evil garments, every human being is wearing a cloth physical and spiritual, even if you are mad we will know that you are wearing a mentally deranged person’s garment so his naked but God wants to change everyone’s garment individually as a family or as a nation.

“The messages about change, God will change your present circumstances and present situation but in the power of the holy spirit, unless you have the power of the holy spirit the evil power will simply overwhelm you, and you will remain in the way you are always been worsen your condition than you had always had before now, it’s the only spirit that brings improvement to life,” Bishop added.
