Tragedy As Trader slumps, dies after selling Puff Puff In Osogbo

Tragedy as a middle aged woman, popularly called Mama Ngozi has slumped and died after frying puff puff.

The unfortunate incident happened at Olaiya area in Osogbo, the Osun State capital.

The deceased was said to have suddenly slumped and died after she was through with her daily sales at the weekend.

According to eyewitness, the woman suddenly fell inside a gutter, after receiving a phone call.

It was gathered that the deceased left her bag in her shop and one of her neighbours who saw it, called her on phone to come back and pick the bag.

The passersby who sighted her falling into the gutter, rushed to rescue her to a nearby hospital, but she died on the way.

A close friend of the deceased who identified herself as Mrs Isaiah, said the woman, who was full of life, used to do her normal business of frying puff-puff and egg roll on daily basis.

“She was a very popular woman in this Olaiya area. I am shocked and devastated over her untimely death.

“Many people call her mama Ngozi and she was a very jovial woman. She was from the Eastern part of Nigeria. May her gentle soul rest in peace,” she stated.

It was gathered that the family was already making plans to convey her remains to her home town for burial.
