Dumbest Thing – Actress Toke Makinwa Admits Regretting Bleaching Skin

Nigerian entertainer, Toke Makinwa discloses her struggles with her skin, reveals that she regrets the bleaching her body.

In her book, “Becoming”, which detailed many parts of her life, she admitted to bleaching her skin because her then ex-husband, Maje, was cheating on her with somebody light skinned.

In a bid to impress him and stop him from wandering outside, she decided to alter her skin to look like the other woman.

Unfortunately, it did not bring about the desired outcome as they eventually divorced and parted ways.

In a question and answer session Toke hosted with some of her fans and followers on Twitter, she was asked to name the things she would do differently if she went back in time.

She responded saying;

“Nothing. Regret is so exhausting!!!! Wait, maybe bleaching my skin, it was the dumbest thing ever and I’m just so thankful for good genes and money cos….”
