THE coalition of Yoruba Youth Movement have berate the Group Chief Executive Officer of Nigeria National Petroleum Corporations limited over the unabated scarcity of fuel in the country for over a week.
The group spoke through her National Publicity Secretary, Comr Adeyemi Owolabi at a press conference at Ibadan, Oyo state capital, condemn the ineffective management of Nigeria oil sector by the Mallam Mele Kyari, they call on the GCEO to Honorably resign his appointment instead of inciting the Nigerian masses against President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR and his administration with this man made scarcity.
He noted that such scarcity without cogent reason never happened during the era of former President Buhari then why such during President Tinubu if not conspiracy from some quarter to further frustrate the effort of Renewed Hope Administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the GCEO should voluntarily resign now or fix the problem between now and next 48hours otherwise, we shall mobilize our members to Abuja to call for his immediate sack.
No effort to frustrate Nigerian should be tolerated, Nigerians are going through alot at this period, demonstrating patriotism and understanding with new government of President Tinubu, any additional stress and sufferness occasion by ineptitude and incompetency of government appointee such as GCEO of NNPC must be rejected.
“We hereby declare 48hours ultimatum for NNPC GCEO to either fix the problem, make fuel available for Nigerians or resign his appointment”
“Failure to honor our demand shall attract mass action against his continue stay without impact at NNPC Ltd,” statement reads.
