Eid-il-Fitr Tragedy: Bus Carrying Passengers Plunges Off Lagos Lagoon

A commercial vehicle (Danfo) carrying several passengers crashed on the Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos, on Wednesday.

According to a video posted on X, at least one passenger was thrown out of the bus and into the lagoon due to the accident.

Although details of the accident are still sketchy as of the time of filing this report, videos of the incident showed passengers with injuries.

Nifemi Oguntoye, in a post on X, said: “The Federal Road Safety Corps has now employed local divers to search for two persons, male and female, still under the water.”
