Olubadan-in-Council, Olubadan designate meeting captured

Members of the Olubadan-in-Council have held a meeting with the Olubadan designate, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin.

VAM reports that the meeting followed the passage of the 42nd Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Mahood Olalekan Balogun.

Balogun passed away on Thursday at the age of 81.

Our correspondent, who is currently monitoring the development, reports that members of the Council, on Friday morning, met at the residence of Oba Owolabi Olakulehin, who is next in line to ascend the stool of Olubadan, based on the current Ibadan chieftaincy arrangements.

Some of the members of the Council, who were at the meeting held at the Alalubosa residence of Olakulehin, are the Otun of Ibadanland, Senator Rasidi Adewolu Ladoja, Oba Amidu Ajibade, Oba Adebayo Akande and Oba Abiodun Kola-Daisi.
