The Yeyeluwa of Ede Land, (Mrs) Modupeola Adeleke-Sanni has sent her appreciation to everyone who came from far and near to symphatise with her and the family over the death of her husband, late Alhaji Tohir Aderemi Sanni.
In a letter signed by her, the President of Adeleke Women of Substance registered her appreciation to everyone for their support.
She said, “I convey my utmost sense of appreciation to family members, friends and thousands of well wishers who shared in my sorrowful moments over the sudden loss of my lovely husband, Alhaji Aderemi Tohir Sanni.
“Your show of passionate empathy at these difficult moments strengthens fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
“I thank our royal fathers from far and near for their royal sympathy and condolences as much as I place on record my gratitude to chiefs, eminent statesmen, all well meaning Nigerians for identifying with the Sanni family at these critical moments.
“I specially note with deep sense of appreciation the rousing support of Osun people who thronged our Ibadan residence to empathize with the family. My thankfulness knows no bound as I was empowered to see the loss as simply divine and God ordained. Osun people, please accept my admiration.
“To the Osun state government under my brother, His Excellency, Senator Ademola Adeleke, I appreciate and extend my best wishes. My deference goes to the members of the State Executive Council, top bureaucrats and officials of the state.”
She, however, appreciates the family members who rallied round her to mourn a man who is not just her husband but a supportive and strong member of the progressive Adeleke family.
“My thanks particularly goes to my elder brother, Dr Deji Adeleke; His Execellency, Governor Ademola Adeleke and other members of the family.
“My list of estimation is long but I plead that all symphatisers, known and unknown, accept my grateful heart. You all helped to give my loved one a befitting transition remeberance.
“May the blessing of Almighty God abide with us and all our loved ones, dead or alive”, she added.
