THE Oyo State Chapter of the Nigerian Labour Congress has taken to the streets and major roads in Ibadan, voicing their concerns over the current economic hardships faced by Nigerians.
The protesting workers are urging the Federal Government to take immediate proactive measures to alleviate the hardship caused by the removal of fuel subsidies.
Members of the NLC started the protest from their Agodi secretariat, marching towards Mokola roundabout, expressing their grievances with chants like “Ebi npa wa o,” translating to “we are hungry.”
