Ondo 2024: APC leaders in Akure South, Ondo East, lfedore back Olusola Oke’s governorship aspiration

Important leaders in Akure South, Ondo East and lfedore council areas of Ondo state have endorsed the governorship ambition of Chief Olusola Oke in the 2024 November election in the state.

The leaders declared that Chief Oke is the person the state needs as its next governor considering the current state of events in the state.

According to them ” Oke is a unifier with a requisite administrative experience and proven understanding of Ondo state and its politics.

They spoke while meeting with the campaign team of Oke in Akure, the state capital.

Speaking on behalf of the leaders, a former member of the House of Representatives, Hon Afe Olowookere, said his relationship with Oke provided the needed conviction for him that the legal luminary is the governor Ondo state needs at this time.

Olowookere expressed assurance that Ondo state will derive a lot of benefits from Oke’s governorship.

According to him “We are here today because we are committed to the belief that Oke will make a better governor. Of all the people jostling for the position, he is the only one who can bring others together to achieve the great task ahead.

“We are convinced that he has tested experience, proven administrative knowledge and sagacity that always allows him to connect with the people seamlessly.

“At this time, when the party is fractured, he is one aspirant that can bring the party together and create an acceptable leadership collegiate that will move the party and state forward,” he added.

Other leaders who spoke at the meeting said Oke is the only gubernatorial aspirant they can trust.

They added that Oke’s acceptability by the electorate stands him out as a man who is always in the hearts of the majority of the people of the state.
