Female Student Stabs, Bathes School Leader With Hot Water

A part two student of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, UNIZIK, identified as Chioma, has allegedly poured hot water on the president of her hostel, identified as Mark.

It was gathered that the female student also stabbed the victim during the process.

It was learnt that the incident occurred on Saturday, 17th February 2024, at Twins Fall Lodge, Ifite-Awka.

A Facebook source, Valentine Mbadugha, said the disagreement between both students was said to have started over sanitation on school hostel where both of them lived.

Chioma was said to have reacted violently when Mark reminded her of her duty to join others in ensuring that the hostel was kept clean.

Though details of the attack is still sketchy, Mbadugha said Mark had been taken to a local hospital for medical attention.

The state police command’s spokesperson, DSP Tochukwu Ikenga could not confirm the incident as at the time of filing this report.
