Ogbara: Tinubu working for a better nation, will fix present challenges

A member of the House of Representatives, Kafilat Ogbara, has appealed to Nigerians to support the administration of President Bola Tinubu in its efforts at repositioning the economy.

Ogbara (APC- Kosofe) made the appeal while speaking at her Constituency Town Hall Meeting on Friday in Lagos.

She said Tinubu had the political will and capacity to fix the economy and other national challenges, adding that the various reforms of the present administration would soon yield the desired results.

The lawmaker said that Tinubu was committed to a better Nigeria and was working assiduously to transform the nation.

“Asiwaju Bola Tinubu made a lot of promises before the election ; these promises will be fulfilled. He has the political will, and courage to fulfill all promises and ensure Nigeria does not remain the same.

“Things will change. By the time the Federal Government starts full implementation of Tinubu’s first budget, we are confident things will change.

“I plead with you (citizens) to be more patient and persevere. There shall be ease and we shall be comforted,” Ogbara said.

The lawmaker, while expressing her commitment to alleviating sufferings in the constituency, said that she would continue to empower women, youths and people with disabilities.

“We have great plans for women to make sure there is turnaround in your businesses. We shall demonstrate part of it here by empowering our women, the physically- challenged because we believe in inclusiveness,” she said.

“Together, we have made strides in our federal constituency, but there is still much work to be done,” she said.
