Ondo TESCOM Not Recruiting Teachers

Ondo State Teaching Service Commission says the purported teachers’ recruitment by the State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) is false.

The Head of Press and Public Relations Unit of TESCOM, Goodluck Akinyomi in a statement released to newsmen on Tuesday, disclosed that the purported teachers’ recruitment advertisement, did not emanate from TESCOM.

The statement added that the Permanent Secretary, TESCOM, Mrs Tolu Adeyemi, enjoined members of the public to ignore the advertisement and so regard it as false.

“The Ondo State Teaching Service Commission hereby bring to Public notice that there is a false news making the rounds that a recruitment exercise by the Ondo State Teaching Service Commission is ongoing, members of the public are advised to disregard the false information as the Ondo State Teaching Service Commission is not running any recruitment exercise now,” the statement revealed.

Akinyomi further noted that the Ondo State government is committed to providing enabling environment and relevant instructional facilities, in tandem with global best practices, for effective and efficient teaching and learning to thrive in all the public secondary schools in Ondo State.

According to him, teachers are now enjoying the dividends of democracy through regular payment of salaries, regular promotion amongst other benefits for the deserving ones.
