Late Alaafin son, D-Gov is dead

The Son of the late Alaafin of Oyo, Prince Abdul Fatai Adebayo Adeyemi (a.k.a D-Gov has passed away.

It was gathered that the Oyo Kingdom Prince died of diabetes at the University College Hospital, UCH, Ibadan, Oyo State in the early hour of Friday.

Prince Adebayo was the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2019 House of Representatives election in the Oyo federal constituency but lost the election to his brother, Prince Akeem Adeyemi, who was re-elected for the second term in 2019.

He was appointed by Governor Seyi Makinde as Chairman of the Oyo State Local Government Pension Board in Omituntun 1.0 administration.

His death has thrown the family of late Oba Adeyemi into mourning.
