PHOTOS: Pro-Wike protest rocks Abuja

There was a massive protest at the National Assembly gate, Abuja, on Thursday morning.

 

The protesters, who gathered as early as 8 a.m., were calling for support for the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike.

 

Recall that a similar protest happened at the same venue on Wednesday, where a group called for the immediate resignation of the FCT Minister.

 

The protesters, identified as the Nigerian Patriotic Forum, carried some placards that described Wike as a detribalised Nigerian.

 

They asked the National Assembly to ignore calls for the resignation of the former Rivers State Governor. CONTINUE READING………………………….
