Inside Osun: Govt Orders Directs Butchers To Renew Their Operation Licenses

In a bid to sanitize the operation of slaughtering, processing and sales of animals in the State, and for improvement in the optimal health of the populace, the Government of the State is hereby informing all BUTCHERS in the State that their operation licenses are to be renewed.

Consequently, all butchers are requested to visit the Veterinary Services Department, Ministry of Agriculture, Abere for the revalidation of their operation licenses.

The revalidation exercise commences on Thursday 7th December, 2023 and ends on Thursday 14th December, 2023 during working hours.

Kindly note that only butchers whose licenses are duly revalidated shall be allowed to engage in animal slaughtering, processing-and sales in the State forthwith.
