THE confirmation of the appointment of Adewale Adeniyi as the substantive Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Customs Service, has been confirmed by President Bola Tinubu.
Willie Bassey, Director, Information at Secretary to the Government of the Federation, disclosed this in a statement on Friday.
According to the statement, the appointment takes effect from 19th October 2023, and his tenure follows the extant provisions of the Public Service Rules (PSR).
The President tasked the CG to bring his wealth of experience to bear on his new assignment.
