Netflix jerks up subscription plan prices again

Netflix is once again hiking the prices of its plan.

Sharing its third-quarter earnings report, the streaming giant announced that it is increasing the price of its Basic plan from $9.99 to $11.99 per month, and the price of its Premium plan from $19.99 to $22.99 per month.

The price of Netflix’s $6.99 ad-supported plan and $15.49 Standard tier will remain the same with immediate effect.

Netflix’s latest price hike will affect the US, UK, and France markets.

Prices for the Basic and Premium plans in the UK and France are also going up, while the ad-supported and Standard plans remain unchanged. In the UK, the Basic and Premium plans will cost $7.99 and $17.99, respectively, while customers in France will see the Basic plan move up to $10.99 and the Premium plan cost $19.99.
