Salaudeen Babatunde Aminu reiterates human development, others to its alma mater, as he joins OSCOTECH Alumni Presidential race

Salaudeen Babatunde Aminu, has declared his intention to contest the position of the National President of the national Alumni association of Osun state college of Technology Esa-oke, known as OSCOTECH Alumni.

Below is the declaration speech unedited;

DECLARATION OF INTENT AS A CANDIDATE FOR THE OFFICE OF NATIONAL PRESIDENT OF OSCOTECH NATIONAL ALUMNI

My dear fellow Alumni, hope we are doing well personally and professionally.

I use this medium to express my deepest gratitude for the privilege of being able to write to you again in this manner. I have been opportune to enjoy your support so in times past, and I owe you eternal gratitude. Today is a particular privilege for me.

In this forthcoming election, we are called to reaffirm our commitments, to hold them against reality, and see how we are measuring up to the legacy of our alumni, and the promise of future generations.

And I say to us today: we have a lot of work to do.

HUMAN CAPITAL DEVELOPMENT:
•We have more work to do for our students who have hope of being the best professionals they can be in this time and in this age. We are living in an age unlike no other, a time of immense technological advancement.

IMPROVED ALUMNI RELATIONS:
More to do for our alumni– because we are important stakeholders of our dear Association. We will also strengthen our alliances and relationships with our sponsors, patrons, school management and engage with the world once again.

I understand the ideals of association, socialization, commitment and service, because they’ve defined my life — from my opportunity to serve as:
Ibadan Chapter Treasurer [ 2016 ],
Ibadan Chapter Vice Chairman [ 2018 ] and National V. President [2020].

Again, and again, I make tough choices when necessary, even when easier ones were available. My values and my track record affirm what is best in all of us.

We will serve not merely by the example of our power but by the power of our example.

At this critical stage of our Association where so much gaps exist within our ranks and file, a “Bridge Builder” who will restore true fellowship is needed now than ever.

As a result of this, I, Salaudeen Babatunde Aminu hereby declare my intention to contest for the position of the National President, OSCOTECH Alumni Association.
