…Doles Out Awards To Secondary School Students, Scholarships To Indigent University Undergraduates

An Idanre born philanthropist, Engr. Benson Ajisegiri with some friends, is set to launch a not-for-profit organization named, “Engineer Benson Ajisegiri Foundation (EBAF)”, to promote educational development in Idanre Local Government Area.

The vision of EBAF is for ensuring every child in Idanre LGA of Ondo state has access to inclusive and qualitative education.

The event will take place on Thursday, 21st September 2023 at Goshen Trust Hotel, St. Joseph Street, Isalu, Odode-Idanre from 2pm prompt.

The Founder who spoke with our Correspondent said EBAF scholarship will be in phases and categories with continuous upgrade as approved by the Board of Trustees of the Foundation.

According to the profile of EBAF cited by our medium, there are three categories of scholarship lined for beneficiaries ranging from EBAF Science Award that is designed for best three science students in JSS3, based on performance in the annual Junior Secondary School (JSS) Examination to be conducted for all JSS3 students by WAEC or NECO.

The second category is the EBAF Excellence Award designed for Senior Secondary School Students with DISTINCTION in WAEC/NECO results. The third category is the EBAF Undergraduate Award designed to support brilliant but indigent undergraduates through EBAF Scholarship Scheme for school fees at any Government University in Nigeria.

Engr Benson Ajisegiri will also use the occasion to do a Public Presentation of his Autobiography titled “Public Service By Grace”.
