Mohbad: Osun Govt Urges Youths To Remain Calm Over Singer’s Death

THE Osun State Government has commiserated with the family of later Nigerian singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.

The Osun State Government, while speaking through the Special Assistant to the Governor on Civil Society Organizations, Adebisi Emmanuel, on Wednesday, described the death of Mohbad as disheartening to the people of the state alongside all Nigerians.

Adebisi, who described the singer as a multi-talented, energetic and visionary youth in the country, urged the investigative committee on the musician’s death to ensure they see to the root of the matter and bring justice to the death of the “young promising artiste”.

He also urged youths across the country not to be overzealous looking for a way to get to limelight, saying they should always be careful on joining any group.
Adebisi also called on youths to “stay away from hard drugs and be a good ambassador of this nation everywhere they find themselves”.

The Senior Special Assistant said the Osun State Government will also give all necessary support to ensure the impeccable justice prevails at the end of the investigation.

He also urged youths in Osun State to “calm and allow peace and tranquility, resilience and normalcy which Osun people is known to be in the country.”

He added, “Osun State Government, greatly sympathize with the youth in the state and country as a whole.”
