The Majority Leader of the Osun State House of Assembly, Akogun Nurudeen Kofoworola Babajide, will on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, commence another educational advancement programme in Ede North Constituency.
Babajide, who represents Ede North Constituency in the House, said the programme would support education activities and complement the effort of Governor Ademola Adeleke on education in Osun State.
Babajide, who disclosed that the event will be held in Ede, said the Timi of Ede, Oba Munirudeen Adesola Lawal; Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Adewale Egbedun, members of the House, stakeholders from Ede and PDP chieftains would grace the event.
The Majority Leader disclosed that 1,000 students from both primary and secondary categories will be given educational materials to ease the burden on their parents.
He said, “During our campaign, we promised to ensure we improve education in our Constituency by consolidating on what we did during our first time.
“On September 26, this year, we shall be holding another programme aimed at improving education in our Constituency.
“We shall be giving no fewer than 1,000 educational materials to encourage them and to also lift burden on their parents. This is not my first time as we did it during our first term in the House of Assembly.”
