Ibadan: Woman found dead two days after induction into nursing council

A young lady, who has just been certified as a nurse, Boluwatife Omoniyi, has been found dead in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

 

VOICE AIR MEDIA learnt that Omoniyi was found dead after she attended a nightclub party to celebrate her induction.

 

The incident occurred two days after her induction into the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.

 

Our correspondent gathered that Omoniyi recently graduated from Lead City University, Ibadan. Her mother had attended the ceremony from Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.

 

It was also revealed that some body parts had been removed when she was found.

 

The Public Relations Officer of the university, Dr. Sola Owolabi, in a telephone chat with DAILY POST, noted that the incident did not occur within the promises of the university.

 

“It did not happen in the school; it happened outside the school.

 

 

“The student has graduated from the university.

 

“The matter has gone viral already,” he said.
