Nigeria President heads to Benin Republic for country’s 63rd independence

NIGERIA President, Bola Tinubu has departed Abuja and is currently on his way to Benin Republic for the country’s 63rd independence anniversary.

Tinubu, who is the chairman of Heads of State and Government of the Economic Community of West African States, will be the Special Guest of President Patrice Talon at the ceremony.

He is accompanied on the trip by six Governors; Ogun, Dapo Abiodun; Lagos, BabajideSanwo-Olu; Oyo, Seyi Makinde; Kwara, AbdulRahmanAbdulRasaq; Kebbi, Nasir Idris, and Niger’s Mohammed Umar Bago.
