Tinubu Approves New Management Team For Nigeria Customs

President Bola Ahmad Tinubu has approved the appointment of a management team for the Customs.
The approval followed the appointment of the Acting Comptroller General of Customs Bashir Adewale Adeniyi on June 19 and the retirement of some management members in the Service.

The new management team include Deputy Comptroller Generals (DCGs) and Assistant Comptroller Generals (ACGs): DCG FO Okun; DCG MBA Musa; DCG A Hamisu; ACG K Olumoh; ACG AB Mohammed; and ACG A Alajogun.

National Public Relations Officer, Chief Superintendent of Custom, Abdullahi Maiwada announced this in a statement yesterday.

According to the statement, while thanking the retired members of the management for their meritorious service, the Acting Comptroller General of Customs, Adeniyi congratulated the newly appointed Officers and charged them to redouble their efforts to ensure the Service achieves greater heights in its mandates of revenue generation, suppression of smuggling and trade facilitation.
