BREAKING: Adeleke Suspends State-Owned Polytechnic Rector, Names Replacement

THE Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke has suspended Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, Rector, Dr Tajudeen Odetayo from office immediately.

This was contained in a statement signed by M.A.K Jimoh, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education.

According to the statement, Dr. Odetayo was suspended following allegations of financial recklessness, corruption, misappropriation of funds and abuse of office.

However, Adeleke has directed Mr. Alabi Kehinde Adeyemi to take over as acting rector of the institution pending the investigation period.
