Adeleke Appoints Ex-minister Aregbesola’s Men, Only Two Women

OSUN state Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has appointed former Nigeria Minister, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola’s loyalists, and two women as commissioners.

It was gathered that two loyalists of the immediate past Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, have made the list of Commissioners and Special Advisers.

Former Osun commissioner for Youths, Sports and Special Needs, Olabiyi Anthony Odunlade and former state commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Kolapo Alimi are among the 25 nominees.

Odunlade and Alimi are well known associates of Aregbesola, a former governor of the state and a leader of the major opposition All Progressives Congress in the state.

While Alimi had defected from APC to the ruling People’s Democratic Party, Odunlade is still in APC.

Governor Adeleke is of the PDP.

It was further gathered that only two women made the list.

They are; Mrs Adenike Folashade Adeleke and Mrs Ayo Awolowo.

The list was announced by the house of Assembly on Friday.

Oladosu Babatunde, Bayo Ogungbangbe, Sesan Epharaim Oyedele, Kolapo Alimi, Soji Ajeigbe, Moshood Olalekan Olagunju, George Alabi, Sunday Olufemi Oroniyi, Abiodun Bankole Ojo, Basiru Tokunbo Salami, Morufu Ayofe, Sola Ogungbile, Rev. Bunmi Jenyo, Mrs Ayo Awolowo, Wole Jimi Bada, Dipo Eluwole, Alh. Rasheed Aderibigbe, Morufu Ademola Adeleke, Adeyemo Festus Ademola, Olabiyi Anthony Odunlade, Jola Akintola, Mayowa Adejorin, Mrs Adenike Folashade Adeleke, Tola Faseru, and Ganiyu Ayobami Olaoluwa.
