Pa Elijah Olanrewaju Pamisi Awofadeju: Tribute To Our Irreplaceable Father, A Good Heart From A Great Generation

By Dr. Peter Olayinka Awofadeju

Words seem to feeble in moments like these as Sons and daughters of Pa Elijah Olanrewaju Pamisi Awofadeju remembered the passing away of an irreplaceable father and grand father who left this sinful world in the month of June, 1987.

It is thirty six (36) years now.
Pa Elijah Olanrewaju Pamisi Awofadeju who was referred to by the family and friends as “Baba Oniyanrin” in his days on earth. This nickname was conferred on him because he lived in one of his houses in Oniyanrin, Ibadan.

Pa Elijah Olanrewaju Pamisi touched many lives positively, he assisted many educationally as they were educated through his financial assistance and many got other forms of help from him which made many to love him.

Today, the children and the grand children are remembering your good heart and relationship with them during your time on earth.

Similarly, father, your sweet story to the grand children and memories to the children made us to remember you.

Though your wives have joined you, yet, we, that are alive pray that God will grant you eternal rest. Your sweet memories will continue with us till we meet and part no more.

We love you, but surely God loves you more.
