Pasuma’s Son Bags Over N200m Scholarship, Graduates As Best Student in US School

Jibola, the son of popular Fuji musician, Wasiu Alabi Pasuma, has emerged the best-graduating student from high school.

The high school graduand from Harlan Community Academy in the United States of America celebrated graduating with a 4.20 GPA in several Instagram posts.

Jibola’s outstanding achievement earned him the valedictorian scholarship of more than $400,000 (N198,483,000million), as well as admission to more than twenty prestigious universities.

Apart from a video of his speech as the valedictorian with some family members who were present to felicitate with him, the young man also shared a collage of most of the universities that have offered him admission following his excellent performance.

He expressed gratitude to God, his parents, sister and everyone who contributed to his success while anticipating a more rewarding journey ahead.

He wrote: “Finally!!!! Moving on to the next step of success. I’m thankful to God, My mom, My dad, my sister, and everyone for helping me along the way. I’ve received over $400k in scholarship money and over five full rides and got into over 20 schools.

“I’m ranked #1 in the school and I’m the Valedictorian with a 4.20 GPA. Committed to UIC HONORS COLLEGE. Alhamdulilah …Unto the next step…Forever going up.”
