Address me as Mallam Namadi, not his excellency ? Jigawa Governor
New Governor of Jigawa State, Mallam Umar Namadi, has said that he desires to be addressed as Mallam Umar Namadi and not “His/Your Excellency.”

He said this during his inauguration alongside his deputy, Aminu Usman, at Aminu Kano Triangle, Dutse, on Monday, May 29.

Assuring residents of the state that he would run his administration by being faithful, loyal and honest, and would treat everybody equally irrespective of differences, he also called on other political parties to join hands and lift the state forward.

He further promised to ensure that his campaign promises are achieved before the end of his first tenure. The Jigawa state Governor added that he would look at the capital projects critically, adding that the state capital would enjoy the privileges.
